As the heading goes, this site is dedicated to Hybrid banknotes only. This is a very specialised area of collections and in general, Hybrid banknotes are usually printed on high denominations or the top end of currency of a country. However despite saying this, there are few exceptions where Hybrid banknotes are printed on an entire series. I believe there are less than 300 pieces of Hybrid banknotes issued so far (including reprints), and apart from one or two pieces, the rest are still obtainable to collectors.

Mongolia 20000 Tugrik 2013 Hybrid reprint

Mongolia 20,000 Tugrik Hybrid note dated 2013. This is a reprint of the 2009 issue with a new date and new governor's signature. The design of this note is the same with no alterations or new security features added, I believe. This note is still the largest banknote circulating in the country. Since the early 2000, all Tugrik banknotes are printed with the year date on the back of each note. The 2009 note was printed with 'AD' prefix. This 2013 reprint has the prefix of "AF".
