As the heading goes, this site is dedicated to Hybrid banknotes only. This is a very specialised area of collections and in general, Hybrid banknotes are usually printed on high denominations or the top end of currency of a country. However despite saying this, there are few exceptions where Hybrid banknotes are printed on an entire series. I believe there are less than 300 pieces of Hybrid banknotes issued so far (including reprints), and apart from one or two pieces, the rest are still obtainable to collectors.

Central African States - Cameroon Hybrid 2002/2015

Five Hundred Francs
Dated 2002 (ND2015)
Reverse
One Thousand Francs
Dated 2002 (ND2015)
Reverse
Two Thousand Francs
Dated 2002 (ND2015)
Reverse
These are the three notes issued in 2015 (all dated 2002) that were reported as Hybrid notes. However I am not convinced that they are. It does not feel like it and it's not the same feeling as those issued by Madagascar or other Hybrids notes known to me so far. The only way we can confirm this is from the original security printing company, which I doubt they would do that.

  1. I can comfirm 500 Francs is Hybrid note and part of 2000 Francs is Hybrid note, some is paper.
I do not comfirm 1000 Francs U prefix belong Hybrid note, even F prefix is paper.

    Thank you
