Here is a reprint of the 1,000 dram, first issued on 25.12.2018. The designs on the are the same (same signature). This note is printed with the year date of 2022.
This is a hybrid banknote, a high composite substrate on a cotton based
paper material, which is covered with thin polyester layers on both
sides. It is also printed with a transparent shape of a pen's tip pointing up right.
The back of the note is printed with fluorescent ink and under UV light, the two colour iridescent bands are visible, including part of the building. This feature was not included in the 2018 issue.

Front - Poet Paruyr Sevek (b.1924-1971). He is considered one of the greatest Armenia poets of the 20th century. He died relatively young, at the age of 47 years old from a car accident together with his wife by his side. To many Armenians, he was murdered due to his opposition against corruption in the country.

Back- Paruyr Sevek's home in Zangakatun. Zangakatun is a small village located about 92 kilometers southeast of the capital city, Yerevan. The village was previously known as Paruyr Ghazaryan. His birthplace is now a museum. To the right is a statue of Paruyr Sevek
